2months

Well Alex is actually almost 3 months old but I have to back track and tell about March. It all started on Thursday Feb 25 Alex caught my cold, didn't really think much of it. He was a bit down but eating good We even went to a birthday party for Scott my dad and 2 uncles on Saturday. Then Sunday 2 months old! he seem to be worse I was a bit worried My mom came over. Monday March 1 We made it to the Dr office and Dr said he is not well at all did two breathing treatments and trid to get a pulse ox level low 80's to high 70's then and sent us to the hospital where they then did two more breathing treatments and put him on o2 My poor baby caught RSV/ pneumonia we were in the hospital for 5 days I hardly left his side did come home on Tuesday and took a shower saw the kids for a bit and went right back. Then Thursday I went for a small walk(doc's) I had a really hard time leaving just couldn't do it. RSV is nothing to kid around with I was so scared Glad to say that he is doing wonderful now
Just other things have me down just hope things turn about sometime soon.

SnowdayX2

Well today is Wednesday Feb. 10 and this is the second snow day in a row. TJ hasn't been to school all week. Thought he might be getting sick Monday but turned out he is fine. I can't believe they were lucky enough to get two snow days in a row.

New Year

Christmas is over, everything is put away. Kids are back to some sort of normal, rooms are clean, well to a point. Kids are back to school. Only one snow day so far this season.

Two weeks into the new year has been at bit busy, adjusting to life with a newborn. Alex is doing good. His two week checkup 1/11/10 went good he was up to 9lb 1oz Dr said everything looked wonderful she couldn't believe how much head control Alex has.

Glad to have a wonderful hubby! He has been helping as much as he can. I think he wishes I wasn't bf but I don't want to give that up. He just wants me to be able to sleep at night, I have trouble with that anyways! He is wonderful.

Went out to eat last night for the first time with Alex, Tried out a new place called Ocean buffet it wasn't all that good. They do have crab legs, they were not that good. Really didn't like the fish. I did like the stuffed shrimp. I am hoping to talk someone into lobster bisque tomorrow!(Only on Fridays!)

Looking for a rocker/recliner. Hope to find one soon as some nights Alex just doesn't want to go back to sleep and it is hard to rock in a computer chair.

School year is half over for the older kids. TJ is doing good. He likes school still, I am glad about that. Kayla I believe is adjusting well to JR high still likes to read more than anything. (Don't really understand why she is getting a C in reading)

Baby

Baby Alex joined our family Monday 12/28 at 10:41am 8lb 5oz So glad to be home from the hospital. So far everything has been wonderful Kayla and TJ seem to love Alex so much.

Our 8 year anniversary was quiet this year but didn't expect anything with a 3day old baby. I did get one thing a very nice nap!

Life

Well I guess you could say we are just living life. Busy as always doesn't seem to be enough time in a day.

This past week~

Monday and Tuesday helped with bookfair/fundraiser returning fixing all the mistakes.

Wednesday We had another ultrasound and it was wonderful. Alex has a head full of hair!! The lady tech said he looks good not measuring to big/or small. estimated about 4lb12oz. Right about 50%.

Thursday was a neat day I got a lot of stuff for Free!! First was a gift bag with a bunch of things bibs, baby spoon, just to name a few. Then I got a crib mattress, changing table pad with a cover! The same place also had a large bag packed full of baby clothes, blankets, sheets and a few bottles. Also had a small stuffed bird. Poor bird fast became a dog toy. Callie sure loved it!!

Friday Worked on the fundraiser at TJ's school and it is almost done IF they sold 15 items they got a t-shirt and they were passed out . Already have one that was too small just hoping there is no more. Tuesday we have a meeting for PTC and will decide what to do for spring. Heading more towards candles or coupon books.

We decide on a name~ Alex Reed

There was a bit of deciding as I liked Alex Scott and Scott liked Alex Reed.
I don't know if I would say Scott got his way or more then I just changed my mind:)
Well this baby boy is growing and growing.
I love feeling him move and kick.

Would love to have the money to buy all the stuff we still need, and want. Talked to a lady today about a crib mattress. Will know more Thursday. Should be getting a new baby carrier as the one I had with my other two was recalled, I didn't like that one so much I think I used it but a few times hoping this new one is better. I always have hope that things will work out.

I have not been working much
Scott has not been working at all!
Could use prayers as Scott has a job interview today!

Wishing, hoping, praying things will get easier~ somehow ~ soon.

22 weeks

Ultrasound yesterday went so wonderful. We found out we are having a BOY!

Kayla and TJ went with us to the ultrasound. TJ thought it was really cool and Kayla even said it was awsome!

Is it to early to set up the crib?

I am so excited.

We do have a name just need to fine tune it... more to come later.
